WandaVision 'Episode 5' Expands the MCU Into the "Marvel Cinematic Multiverse"

Evan Peters as 'Quicksilver' in the X-Men franchise and MCU

The latest episode of the newest Marvel Studios entry into the MCU, the Disney+ original WandaVision, has officially changed the Marvel Universe forever.

As you can see, the episode ended on a shocking reveal of Wanda's dead brother, Pietro/Quicksilver, knocking at her door. Except, to the confusion of everyone, we instead see Quicksilver from the Fox X-Men films as played by Evan Peters.

This marks Peters' fifth time portraying the character of Quicksilver on screen.

As fans wait to see what this shocking reveal means, there is also a new theory going around involving the commercials in WandaVision. As you can see below, so far they seem to line up with each infinity stone, but is there more to it?

Wandavision Commercial - Strucker Watch - Time Stone -

Wandavision Commercial - Lagos - Aether - Reality Stone

New Videos And Details On The Canned "Avengers" Tie-In Video Game

We recently got a chance to see some old test footage for the Avengers video game that was ultimately shut down after the studio, THQ Brisbane, closed its doors. Now thanks to Kotaku we now have some pretty cool gameplay footage, and some cool info on the game, check it out below!

The source tells Kotaku Australia that it was the only game that THQ Studio Australia (Studio Oz) was working on at the time of the closure and they had already poured 18 months of hard work into crafting what was anticipated to be a high quality Marvel movie game instead of just another licensed title.

When the developers at the studio got wind that Studio Oz was in trouble, they made these videos for Marvel in hope that the comic book giant would come on board and prevent any closures. Despite the superhero first-person brawler impressing Marvel, the project was ultimately canned by THQ.

The game was being developed for Xbox 360 and PS3, with THQ’s Melbourne studio, Blue Tongue, said to have been working on the PC version. Our source tells us that approximately 200 people in total were working on the game, including Blue Tongue and outsourcing.

A first person brawler? That would have been interesting to see in Avengers format. And did anyone notice Vision? How about the Super Skrulls with X-Men and Fantastic Four powers, so I'm going to take that as a pretty clear indication that the Skrulls will NOT be the villains in The Avengers.

First Look At Marvel "The Avengers" Legos And More

After the recent announcement of Marvel legos, new photos of Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Thor, Captain America, and more have surfaced online

As previously announced:

Two of the world's most iconic brands are joining forces as The LEGO Group, world leader in high quality construction toys, and Marvel Entertainment, LLC, a global character -based entertainment company, announced a wide ranging strategic licensing deal. Through the multi-year agreement starting as of January 1st, 2012, Marvel has granted LEGO Group the rights to develop a distinct Marvel branded construction toy collection -- LEGO SUPER HEROES -- which will bring the characters, vehicles and action of Marvel's renowned universe to the world of LEGO® build-and-play adventure. The LEGO SUPER HEROES Marvel collection's initial construction sets, minifigures and buildable characters are scheduled to launch in May of 2012.

The LEGO SUPER HEROES Marvel collection will spotlight three Marvel franchises – Marvel's The Avengers movie, and X-Men and Spider-Man classic characters. The LEGO Marvel's The Avengers movie line brings such ever popular Marvel characters as Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Loki and Black Widow to LEGO minifigure form. The LEGO X-Men collection includes minifigure comic versions of Wolverine, Magneto, Nick Fury and Deadpool, while the LEGO Spider-Man sets offer minifigure comic versions of Spider-Man, and Doctor Octopus. The first buildable characters in the LEGO SUPER HEROES collection are highlighted by Captain America, The Hulk and Iron Man. Select figures will be unveiled in the LEGO booth (#2829) during Comic-Con International at the San Diego Convention Center July 21-24.

"Our partnership with Marvel helps us continue to deliver some of the best and most constructible Super Hero stories of all time," said Jill Wilfert, vice president, licensing and entertainment for The LEGO Group. "We're thrilled to partner with Marvel to create creative, constructive play sets for builders, fans and collectors alike."

Joann Mclaughlin, Executive Vice President Toys & Hardlines, Marvel Entertainment, commented, "The partnership with LEGO Group furthers Marvel's strategy to align our brand with the best in class leaders across various industries who have the global marketing expertise and distribution clout to stand out in the retail environment. This deal solidifies the already robust presence of our characters and the overall Marvel brand in the ever important toy category."

The retail debut of the Marvel-inspired LEGO SUPER HEROES collection is timed to coincide with the highly anticipated Summer 2012 blockbuster movie release of Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Pictures feature film Marvel's The Avengers.

So unfortuantly the Avengers legos wont be released until next Summer.

Uncanny X-Men Ends With Issue 544

Marvel has recently let out the news the the long running, popular, Marvel sereis "Uncanny X-Men" is coming to an end.
Uncanny X-Men remains Marvel Comics' only Silver Age title to retain its consecutive issue numbering since its conception, even during the early 1970s reprint hiatus. The Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain America, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor have all, at one time or another, restarted their numbering at #1; but all have returned to their original numbering. These revamps and renumberings took place in the 1990s. First in 1996, and again in 1998, for Avengers, Captain America, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, and Thor after the "Onslaught" and "Heroes Reborn" storylines, respectively; 1998 for Daredevil; and 1999 for Incredible Hulk. From issue #1 through #93 the indicia title was The X-Men. After the relaunch with issue #94, and up to #141, the article The was dropped from the indicia title making it X-Men. Beginning with issue #142, and up to #407, the article was re-added along with the adjective Uncanny to change the indicia title to The Uncanny X-Men. Issue #408 was the first to use the current indicia title, Uncanny X-Men.
Uncanny X-Men all comes to an end thanks to the event known as "Schism"
As Axel Alonso has said about Schism:
"Schism is the X-Men's Civil War. The biggest X-event in a decade divides the mutant universe across distinct battle-lines and asks readers the question: Whose side are you on? And there's a reason Schism ends at exactly the same time as Fear Itself. Next summer, the entire Marvel Universe will have it's eyes on The X-Men."
