And now the Bucky interview:Expect Bucky Barnes to go to war with Captain America in Bucky's first live-action movie. Sebastian Stan, the actor playing Bucky, chatted with MTV recently regarding his role in The First Avenger: Captain America.
"Steve Rogers and Bucky are both orphans and kind of like brothers," Stan said, who also admitted that he was unfamiliar with the comics before getting the part. "There's a certain way these guys carry themselves, there's a certain etiquette, a certain body posture, the way that they interact. So I went back and read the comics and watched a lot of documentaries on World War II. Band of Brothers was very helpful."
Captain America seems to set up Barnes more as Steve Rogers' teammate on the battlefield, and less as government mascot/Cap's sidekick. (The Rumor Mill also says that Bucky may die in the movie, but we hope not - 'cause we want to see the character's "Winter Soldier" assassin arc brought to the big screen.)

Whatever Bucky's fate, Stan promises that fans will get to see the character in action.
"There's a lot of CGI stuff and working with a green screen," Stan said. "I hadn't done that too extensively before. That was very challenging, because you're just there surrounded by green walls, but there's explosions going off around you, so you have to factor that in and maintain that in your imagination."
So we're dodging explosions and fighting bad guys alongside Cap? July 22, 2011 can't get here fast enough.
