Rumors Of The Web Pt.1

I've decided to take a trip around the web and find some rumors involving some very odd and most likely fake stories involving some of our favorite heroes.

This one coming from none other than Wikipedia is by far the most unbelievable of all the rumors.

When Lego announced the new Lego Super Heroes theme, "Lego Super Heroes: The Video Game" will be released in the Summer of 2012 to tie-in with the theme itself and upcoming superhero movies including The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man, and The Avengers. The game is a crossover of characters from DC Comics including Batman and Green Lantern, and Marvel Comics including Spider-Man and Captain America, as well as favorite characters for each story.

I give it 2% chance of being true, and that's mostly because I want it to be.

Another unreliable site, IMDB , has posted a list of cast members for the upcoming animated series Ultimate Spider-Man. But as of right now, i believe on Pasdar, Simons, Bell, Gregg, and Lee have been confirmed as to voicing those characters.Obviously you can see that they have Luke Cage to appear in 25 episodes? This actually seems plausible, but come on, it's from IMDB.

If you like "Rumors of The Web" then share this post with your friends and help it get over 1,000 pageviews. If we hit at least 1,000 then more "Rumors of The Web" will be coming soon.

New Punisher Series Being Developed By FOX?

Variety is currently reporting that the beloved Marvbel character "Frank Castle" AKA Punisher is being developed over at FOX. It is reported that ABC (Apart of Disney, which owns Marvel) sold the television rights to FOX.

The Punisher is described as an hour-long procedural with a Marvel signature and
a new take on one of comic book giant’s iconic characters, Frank Castle, a
rising star detective with the NYC Police Department who moonlights as the
vigilante Punisher seeking justice for those the system has failed. Bernero will
executive produce along with Marvel. This marks the first
this season and the first one ever outside of ABC for Disney-owned Marvel, which
is developing TV series based on its properties through ABC Studios.
Now Marvel currently has at least two shows already in production at ABC, so this news doesn't shock me much...... IF it turns out to be true. But after three movies will television show the Punisher we deserve? You decide for yourselves in the comments.
